Hello

Dr Paulin graduated from University of Montreal in 2002. After his studies in Montreal, he returned to his community to open a family practice in Oromocto.  He has worked in multiple areas within Horizon Health Network such has in the emergency department, oncology unit, public health and palliative care unit.

He has been involved in occupational health since 2006. He was the medical health service officer for RCMP J division from 2006 until 2015. During that time, he was responsible for the physical and emotional wellness of the RCMP J division membership. Also, he was the occupational health physician consultant for the Horizon Health Network from 2012 until 2015. He  was responsible for the physical and emotional wellness of the occupational health aspect of all employees of the corporation.

Dr Paulin has been involved with multiple professional associations. He has been a council member for the college of physicians and surgeons of New Brunswick since 2011.  He has been involved in the continuing professional development committee at the New Brunswick Medical Society and president of the Capital Medical Society. Since 2015, he has been working with the physician health committee to promote wellness and self-care among physicians in New Brunswick. He has been involved in creating a peer support for physician in his community.

Dr Paulin has been involved in teaching students and residents during their training. He has a faculty appointment in the Department of Family Medicine of Dalhousie University. He was awarded the New Brunswick Undergraduate Preceptor of the year in 2017.
